Puppies are Here!!!

It has been a very long labor for Dagny but, after more than 24 hours, she delivered eight beautiful and healthy pups.

During the labor I got a little worried because there were more than 5 hours between the 6th and 7th pup but, after that long rest, the last two pups came into the world less than 30 minutes apart. There are 5 girls and 3 boys and momma is tired but happy to nurse and take care of her cute little pups.

As for me, I probably am more tired than Dagny who managed to sleep between some of the deliveries. The upside now is that I can finally get to sleep for two hours in between feedings for the next week. Yay!!!
